A PPH service, short for pay per head, lets you run a sportsbook for the people you know without building one yourself. The provider gives you a fully functioning betting website for your players. It posts thousands of betting options each day, updates the odds second by second, grades every bet as soon as the game ends, and updates every balance automatically. The provider handles the bookmaking. You keep 100% of the profit from your players' action.

Whatever your players win or lose, you settle with them directly. The PPH service doesn't take a commission. It charges a small weekly fee for each active player, and an active player is simply someone with at least one graded wager that week. Whether a player bets once or a thousand times, the price is the same. For a deeper look at how the model works, read what is pay per head.

Gambling never sleeps. There is always a game on somewhere, a casino table open, or a race about to go off. That means questions and requests don't wait for business hours either. A player might want a limit raised before a Sunday night game. You might need a specific line taken down, a wager reviewed, or a new player account opened at midnight on a Saturday.

When something is time-sensitive, a provider that only answers during the day isn't much help. The difference between getting a limit changed in two minutes and getting it changed the next morning can be a lost player or an unwanted risk on your book.

AcePerHead is one of the best PPH services on the market, and agents who want round-the-clock help choose the Best AcePerHead support team. The company has been in business for more than 25 years and is open around the clock, every day of the year. You can reach the team whenever you need them by:

The support staff includes American English-speaking representatives with real experience in the business. Beyond handling routine requests, they can offer practical advice on managing a winning player, setting limits, and growing your book. You can read more about AcePerHead and the team behind it.

Support is only part of the picture. AcePerHead also offers more betting options and sharper lines than many other services, and that combination helps agents earn more from their players.

AcePerHead reports a weekly average hold of about 14%, compared with an industry average closer to 5%. In plain terms, for every $1,000 wagered on AcePerHead, players lose around $140 on average. On a typical site, the same $1,000 produces about $50 in player losses. That is why agents on AcePerHead can earn close to three times as much on the same betting volume.

The reason comes down to lines and options. In sports betting, a half point or a full point often decides whether a bet wins or loses. A provider that moves its lines quickly, based on where the sharp money is going, gives your players less stale value to exploit. More betting options also mean more total volume per player. Our breakdown of how bookies make money explains why hold and volume matter so much.

A lot of work goes into keeping a sportsbook running 24 hours a day. Someone has to post opening lines for every game in every sport, from the NFL and college football to soccer leagues overseas that kick off while most Americans are asleep. Someone has to watch those lines and adjust them as news breaks and money comes in. Someone has to grade every bet, settle every parlay and teaser, and make sure every balance is right before players log in the next morning.

With a PPH service, all of that is done for you. AcePerHead starts with a market average from the largest books in the world, then moves lines based on where the action and the sharp money are going. Grading happens automatically as soon as results are official. You don't need to hire staff, pay for servers, or stay up all night watching the board. Your job is to find players, manage their limits, and settle up each week.

Live betting is one of the biggest reasons a sportsbook has to run around the clock. In-game lines change after every possession, every inning, and every break of serve. Players love betting while they watch, and many will place several wagers during a single game. AcePerHead offers multiple live betting platforms, and select platforms include a live TV feature so players can watch and bet in the same place. That kind of action needs a platform that stays up and a support team that is awake when it matters.

Football season is when round-the-clock support proves its worth. From September through the Super Bowl, the betting week starts with Thursday night football, builds through Saturday's college slate, peaks on Sunday, and finishes with Monday night. Lines move constantly as injury news breaks and sharp money comes in.

During those weeks, agents need fast answers. A player wants a higher limit on a big Sunday game. Someone needs a password reset ten minutes before kickoff. You want to tighten limits on a player who has been hitting late-night college totals. Strong football betting software paired with a support team that answers at any hour makes those weekends far less stressful.

The same holds true in other seasons. Basketball brings nightly games and a flood of action in March. Baseball runs almost every day from spring through fall, and good baseball betting software keeps that steady daily volume moving. Live betting adds another layer, since in-game lines change by the minute and players bet at all hours.

Here are the kinds of requests agents send at all hours:

Most of these can also be handled in the agent backend, and the agent site tutorials show you how. Still, it helps to have experienced people available when you need a second opinion or a fast change.

Player retention depends on a smooth experience. When a player can't log in, can't find a bet, or gets an error at the wrong moment, they may simply try another site. A 24/7 support team helps you fix those problems before they cost you a customer.

Fast payouts and clear communication are on you, but a reliable platform makes your job easier. Players who trust that the site works, that bets are graded correctly, and that you settle on time tend to stay for years and refer their friends. For more on growing your player base, see how to be a successful bookie.

Most bets today are placed from a phone, often late at night or first thing in the morning. A player checking scores in bed might decide to bet a soccer match in Europe or a late tennis match in Australia. A reliable mobile site, with a clean bet slip and fast load times, keeps that late-night action on your book. If something goes wrong, 24/7 support means the problem gets fixed before the player gives up and tries somewhere else.

If you're comparing providers, keep these questions in mind:

For quick answers about pricing, support, and setup, see the AcePerHead FAQ.
